The Wishing Well works to provide clothing, supplies, and occasionally funding to assist with extracurricular activities (sports, camps, etc) unavailable to most foster kids in Pierce County by addressing financial barriers to accepting foster placements.

The Lawyer Referral Service connects callers with legal resources. If you can pay to hire an attorney, we schedule an initial 30-minute phone consultation with the appropriate type of attorney for most legal problems.

Eviction - Northwest Justice Project

Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is Washington’s largest publicly funded legal aid program. Each year NJP provides critical civil legal assistance and representation to thousands of low-income people in cases affecting basic human needs such as family safety and security, housing preservation, protection of income, access to health care, education and other basic needs.

The Housing Justice Project’s Right to Counsel team represents tenants in eviction hearings. If you receive an eviction Summons and Complaint contact HJP right away. If you have a show cause hearing scheduled, COME TO YOUR HEARING so our Right to Counsel attorneys will have a chance to provide you representation.

Legal Help for People Of Moderate Means

The statewide Moderate Means Program strives to bridge that gap with reduced-fee assistance in legal cases involving family, housing, consumer, and unemployment issues that is scaled to the client’s income. The Moderate Means Program connects moderate-income clients with a family, housing, consumer, and/or unemployment legal issue with legal professionals willing to represent them at a reduced rate.
