Each patient will have a completed assessment and recommendations prior to engaging in services. This assessment must be completed by a State licensed agency and by a certified Chemical Dependency Professional. If the patient is in need of substance abuse treatment, certain phases of treatment may be offered, depending upon the ASAM and DSM5 criteria / recommended treatment parameters.
For the Culture Counseling
For The Culture Counseling Services, is a licensed Outpatient, Community Based Behavioral Health Agency located in Pierce County. Though their physical location is in Pierce County, they also serve Greater King County. The foundation of their agency is to address the behavioral health needs of youth in the community, but they also provide behavioral health services to adults.

Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution
The DOH Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution (OEND) program supports access to naloxone for people who are likely to experience or witness an opioid overdose. The program provides free naloxone for distribution to clients and community members, overdose recognition and response trainings for community organizations, and technical assistance to organizations that are interested in distributing naloxone.

Stopoverdose.org is a project of the Center for Community-Engaged Drug Education, Epidemiology, and Research (CEDEER) at the University of Washington Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI). CEDEER offers education and technical assistance for individuals, professionals, and communities in Washington State who want to learn to prevent and respond to overdose, and improve the health of people who use drugs.

The report provides actionable resources and other information to help guide policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to improve practices and policies, find solutions, and bridge the gap between research and practice. The project also includes a self-assessment tool.
